Chihuly Update

The fourth grade at one of my schools has finished the Chihuly project. Last week they created the shells with model magic.





This week we layered tissue paper with gel medium onto the dried model magic shells.

    I'm not sure under what rock...or shell, pun intended...that I've been living under, but only recently have I realized the possibilities with tissue paper. This is another great example. The layering creates such a nice, sophisticated quality!
