For my weekly live drawing, I leaned into Yago Partal for a directed draw of our high school mascot wearing a suit. Almost immediately after the session ended I was flooded with the amazing images below:
Since we featured this artist on our choiceboard, I wasn't sure if they would tune out once they found out what the drawing was, but I actually had more submissions than any other week of live drawing.
It appears the students were just waiting for this opportunity. It was a nice change of pace from the face changer origami last week, which was a little tricky for my younger artists.

I've never asked for them, but it always warms my heart when parents share "behind the scenes" photos of students working. This week, it just happened to be a student watching the live draw! How cool is that?
