Painting a patronus

Are your middle school students obsessed with Harry Potter? Connecting to pop culture is always one of the easiest ways to get students engaged. Such a fun way to slip some color theory into your curriculum. Depending on your students you could do straight monochromatic, or if they are a little advanced you could lean into analogous color schemes.

While canvas and acylic are shown here, I imagine these could be quite beautiful with chalk pastels as well. Interested in the lesson plan and presentation? Check it out here.
