Distance Learning For Teachers

One of the great things to surface during this crisis has been a return to hobbies. As a member of many online drawing groups, it has been great to see the abundance of people taking time to be creative. I have really enjoyed the time to participate in live drawing tutorials with digital brush designer Lisa Bardot.

She offers daily drawing prompts in her making art everyday group. Her brushes are the first ones that really feel like I am creating with actual (non-digital) media. Right now her brushes are on sale if you want to check them out.**

Here are a few items I created this week in her draw along sessions.

This artwork was done using the "Midcentury" Brush set

This artwork uses the "multiply" blend mode to create a screenprinted limited palette effect

This artwork used the symmetry assisted drawing function.

Some of the things I've learned from Lisa's tutorials may eventually find their way into some lesson plans in the future.

This is not a sponsored post. I have purchased all the brushes used in the artworks above.
