This week, our department's choiceboard theme was observation drawing.
We gave students the option to create one of the following
- Draw the view from your window
- Draw a favorite toy or favorite food
- Draw a house in your neighborhood
- Draw from a reference photo
- Draw from a favorite storybook
- Draw a self-portrait from a mirror
They were allowed to choose any media or technique.
So impressed with their efforts.
Tomorrow I will be posting their last official choiceboard.
I've also been doing guided drawing in their classroom teachers' zoom meetings and on youtube live. This week's live drawing was an origami face changer and they did an awesome job.
