Designing clip art is so different from drawing or painting on commission. You're working in the dark, with no inkling if anyone other than you will think this is a good idea. Then you put those little babies out there and you have no idea where they end up.
So it was with a little hesitation, that I reached out to a recent buyer of my distance learning set and asked if I could take a peek at what she's done with my clip art. (I know there is something next level stalker-ish about that act...don't judge me!) But, you guys, the amazing thing is she responded. And it was magical. To see my little people out there mixing it up with someone else's ideas and fonts and other people's clip art. It got me excited to sit down and draw.
So I wanted to thank Tara of Autism Little Learners for honoring my outlandish request. She is a real sweetheart who created a free book for children explaining why people wear masks. You can see her news interview here. She has a store of amazing resources and offers custom social stories for educators, parents and students and she has a great sense of humor. Check out her distance learning tips for teachers.
