Animation in the art room

Thanks to the generosity of crayola, both of my schools once again received art education grants that were fully funded. This year I am teaming with our librarian to introduce students to animation using stop motion studio on the ipads. This free app is jam packed with features and I can't wait for them to get started.

She is ordering some books and resources for the library and will guide them through creating a storyboard in library class and they will work in teams in my room to film the videos. I've been playing with the app as I await my supply order. 

Can't wait for the students to find out what's in store for them this year.
